DescriptionAs a Technical Team Lead you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Business Partner Transparency (BPT) within our osapiens HUB. This enterprise-grade platform helps companies comply with critical ESG regulations like:
- The German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) – ensuring suppliers uphold human rights and environmental standards.
- The Whistleblower Directive – providing secure, anonymous reporting channels.
- The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) – upcoming EU-wide sustainability compliance.
In this role, you will combine technical expertise with leadership, guiding a team of 5-7 engineers to build scalable, high-impact solutions. You will shape the team’s technical direction, champion best practices, and work closely with product managers to translate business needs into effective solutions.
Our osapiens HUB is a modern, enterprise-grade development platform that enables businesses to build powerful applications without worrying about infrastructure, scaling, or failover. You’ll help develop and refine this cutting-edge, serverless ecosystem while delivering meaningful solutions for international clients.
This role is based in Madrid where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model , with three days a week in the office , ensuring the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Leading by example by writing high-quality, scalable code while leading, mentoring, and reviewing contributions from team members.
- Shaping the technical direction by defining best practices and making architectural decisions that drive high-performance development.
- Driving agile development by facilitating stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure efficient workflows.
- Collaborating with product teams by working closely with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Fostering team growth by mentoring engineers, providing guidance, and creating opportunities for professional development.
- Staying ahead of industry trends by researching and introducing new technologies that improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Demonstrating proven leadership experience by having previously led teams as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Senior Engineer, with a strong focus on mentoring and guiding team members.
- Bringing expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js by developing scalable, high-performance applications with modern full-stack technologies.
- Applying a deep understanding of agile development by thriving in fast-paced, iterative environments and continuously improving team workflows.
- Exercising excellent problem‑solving skills by breaking down complex business requirements into simple, effective technical solutions.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders by collaborating seamlessly with both technical and non-technical teams to drive alignment and clarity.

- Excellent communication skills in English (C1). German is a bonus (B1+)
