Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead with a strong command of REXX to guide our technical team in delivering innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment. This role requires a deep understanding of REXX programming and the ability to mentor team members while driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support in REXX development and implementation.
• Design, develop, and maintain REXX applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance code quality.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in REXX and related technologies.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities, contributing to resource allocation and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices in software development.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in REXX programming language.
• COBOL, JCL and VSAM
• Proficient in software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software development or project management are a plus.
