Technical Trainee

Job Description

-  Monitor Kubernetes cluster health and availability

- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes YAML manifests

- Perform basic scaling of pods and deployments

- Troubleshoot pod-level issues and restart failed pods

- Manage Kubernetes resources such as Pods, Deployments, Services, and Namespaces

- Validate application accessibility through Kubernetes Services

- Assist in storage configuration using Persistent Volumes (PV) and Persistent Volume Claims (PVC)

- Collect logs, events, and metrics for incident escalation

- Follow operational SOPs and security guidelines

Requirements

Skill Requirements

Kubernetes Fundamentals:

- Understanding of Kubernetes architecture (Control Plane & Worker Nodes)

- Core objects: Pod, Deployment, Service, ConfigMap, Secret, PVC, PV

kubectl Commands:

- get, describe, logs, exec, apply, delete, scale, rollout

Linux & Containers:

- Basic Linux troubleshooting commands

- Understanding of container concepts and Docker basics
