Technical Writer

Position: Location: India (Ahmedabad / Pune / Mumbai / Remote options available). Candidates willing to relocate to Ahmedabad preferred. Domains: B2B, SaaS Products, Construction, Infrastructure, Mining, Oil & Gas domain

At Asite we are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Technical Writer to develop clear, concise, and user-focused documentation for our B2B SaaS platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, designers, and customer success teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand resources for both technical and non-technical users.

This role is critical in helping our customers understand and get value from our product—whether it’s through API guides, onboarding manuals, in-app help, or product release notes.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in SaaS solutions and looking to make the next step up in their career who have a passion to work for a growth focused company.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation including user guides, API docs, knowledge base articles, in-app help, and release notes.
  • Translate product features into intuitive content for end users, admins, developers, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Engineers, to gather product knowledge and workflows.
  • Develop content strategies for documentation portals and support sites to improve usability and findability.
  • Own the information architecture of documentation to ensure consistency and logical flow.
  • Review and edit content created by other team members to maintain a unified voice and tone.
  • Stay up to date with product changes and proactively update documentation in sync with releases.
  • Have a proactive role in continually improving the process.

    • Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a technical writer in a B2B SaaS or software environment.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Experience with documentation tools such as Intercom, or similar.
  • Familiarity with API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) and developer-focused content.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS products, user personas, and customer journeys.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills especially with a “can-do” attitud
