Be part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system. Peraton is seeking a Technical Writer to set guidelines and standard procedures for producing documentation, establishing documentation schedules, and serve as the editing authority for final documents. Responsibilities include:
Creates and manages detailed program and project plans that map directly to larger team goals.
Identifies resource requirements, task owners, milestones, dependencies, and key risks.
Leads cross-functional internal teams through program milestones, serving as central coordination point.
Ensures new and existing publications follow established documentation procedures.
Leads internal process documentation.
