Role:  Technical Writer with Telecom domain experience

Total Experience:  6-10 years

Job Location:  Pune, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru

Mode of Hire:  Permanent

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business & technical requirements for Telecom.
  • Research, design, write, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Create and manage documentation in modern tools such as, Confluence, Swagger, FrameMaker and Oxygen xml.
  • VoIP and SIP Protocol Knowledge
  • Knowledge on IP networks (ESInet), call routing & location validation
  • GIS & mapping tools (Esri certification – Good to have)

    • Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, QA, DevOps, and SMEs to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools, and issue tracking platforms (e.g., Jira,).
  • Design workflows for emergency response, call routing, and dispatch operations.
  • Analyse call flows, GIS integration, and CAD systems for optimization.
  • Ensure seamless interoperability between PSAPs, ESInet, and telecom networks.
  • Act as a liaison between emergency teams, telecom providers, and IT developers.
  • Develop UAT plans, support validation, and troubleshoot deployments.
  • Maintain documentation, track incidents, and ensure FCC, NENA, and DHS compliance.
