Job Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Non-licensed staff member who, under the direction of a registered nurse, provides physical care and emotional support to patients, while maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. In addition, responsible for the clerical and communication functions as needed.


QUALIFICATION:


Education & Experience:

  • High School graduate or . required. 
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years previous experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred. 

    • Certification/Licensure: 

  • CPR (American Heart Association) required. 
  • CPI required must be obtained within introductory period.
  • Psychiatric Technician preferred.
