Technician II – Failure Analysis

Monitoring field quality data for accuracy and consistency, understanding historical failure modes, and identifying new field issues is the core of this role. Failure Analysis Technicians track and archive reports to build a knowledge database of issues and resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of failure data, including conditions, symptoms, and failure modes. Review RMA data for consistent, complete failure coding.
• Identify trends in failures and provide quantitative analysis of such trends.
• Identify and document the most probable root cause(s) of failures.
• Drive corrective action for simple failures.
• Prepare complete, concise Failure Analysis reports for internal and external customer communications.
