We have an opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Mackay branch.

*In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: *
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
Diagnose and repair various engines
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components
RESPONSIBILITIES
*To be successful in this role you will need the following: *
Must have Heavy Vehicle Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
Previous experience with repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications
Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
Full Time / 38 hours per week
Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
Local Valid Drivers License
