About the Company

Gordon Brothers Industries , now proudly part of the Johnson Controls family, is Australia’s largest Industrial Refrigeration company. With offices in every mainland state, we design, build, and service industrial refrigeration solutions across mining, chemical, food and beverage, and more.

As we continue to grow and innovate, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our Perth team.

The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality service and maintenance across a wide range of industrial refrigeration systems. We’re looking for someone reliable, self-driven, and solutions-focused—someone who can keep jobs running smoothly with a proactive and flexible approach.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out planned and unplanned service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
  • Participate in company training programs and service meetings

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Qualified or experienced Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Current ARC licence
  • Current Restricted Electrical licence

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Ammonia system experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • A positive and proactive approach to safety
