Summary

The Maintenance Team Lead oversees a team of Technicians in delivering preventative and corrective maintenance, routine, and on-demand services for assigned facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring work adheres to established processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements, while also performing maintenance tasks.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technicians, assign and monitor work, and review performance.
• Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Perform and oversee maintenance and inspections of facility systems.
• Coordinate work orders, troubleshoot issues, and respond to service requests.
• Maintain records, manage operational contracts, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
• Participate in projects, manage tools and expenditures, and support safety and operational meetings.
• Work shifts, be on-call, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Work Requirements

• Availability to work shifts, be on-call, and respond to emergencies.
• Willingness to wear PPE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility operations and maintenance experience.
• High school diploma with trades training and certification.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Advanced knowledge of facility systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of fire, safety, and building codes.
• Strong safety mindset and client service orientation.
• Effective communication skills.

Licenses & Certifications

• Journeyman Electrical License.
• Building Operator Certification.
• Systems Maintenance Administration Certification is a plus.
