Job Summary

OPAL-RT Technologies is looking for a NPI Technician, Test Automation. The NPI Test Automation Technician is responsible for transferring relevant information for the manufacturing of new products and for the initial production launch, including the introduction of production testing. The candidate works closely with the Production and R&D teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Write product test procedures.
  • Support R&D in defining requirements.
  • Work closely with R&D to create procedures.
  • Automate existing tests and develop tests for new products.
  • Design, assemble and document test stations for production.
  • Produce assembly schematics for test stations and cables.
  • Create bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Assemble and test the station.
  • Train test operators.
  • Transfer newly assembled products into production.
