Primary Responsibilities
:
Create solution designs for high profile business projects covering the following areas (infrastructure capacity, shared service requirements, integration choices, network security policy, operational readiness and estimations) Define multiyear roadmaps for legacy enterprise application environments running on mainframe, AS400 and distributed infrastructure. Creating and sharing of roadmaps will set direction for engineering teams to build platforms that will align to company objectives and avoid costly re-work in the future. Investigate, analyze and discover opportunities to lower or control operating expenses coming from software subscriptions, maintenance and hardware consumption Identify and document opportunities for automating processes and procedures that will free up repetitive tasks and enable operations teams to focus on improved system availability and uptime Review and bring to life proofs of concept ...
