Technology Lead (GM / AVP) – Learning Platform

Location: Gurugram | Reporting to: VP | Role: IC (Senior Leadership) | Full-time

We are hiring a senior Technology Lead (GM / AVP) to own the engineering vision for a large-scale learning platform empowering millions of educators across India. This is a hands-on Individual Contributor role with executive-level ownership, responsible for architecture, platform modernization, AI enablement, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead platform modernization to ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Own system architecture and key technology decisions across backend, frontend, data, and cloud.
• Drive AI/ML and LLM-powered features (chatbots, recommendations, personalization) from design to production.
• Establish MLOps practices: model versioning, monitoring, safe rollouts, and responsible AI standards.
• Ensure strong DevOps and SRE maturity: CI/CD, IaC, observability, SLIs/SLOs, and incident management.
• Embed security-by-design, data privacy, and compliance across the SDLC.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Business, and external vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Lead through influence—mentoring engineers, enforcing quality standards, and guiding partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience; 5+ years leading large-scale platforms or initiatives.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud (AWS), DevOps, and system design.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML or LLM-based features in production.
• Proven ability to align technical strategy with business impact.
• Mandatory experience in EdTech / e-learning platforms.

Bonus Skills: Python, Django/DRF, Flutter, React/Next.js, MySQL, AWS, Celery, Firebase.
