Technology Sourcing Manager – Procurement

<div><b>We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for technology goods and services. The role requires deep expertise in procurement sourcing, complex contract negotiations, and cross-functional stakeholder management. The successful candidate will drive cost savings, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and manage high-value contracts.</b></div> <div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>Lead sourcing and negotiation for complex technology deals, typically exceeding $5M total contract value.</div> </li> <li> <div>Author, review, and edit contracts to ensure alignment with organizational and legal requirements.</div> </li> <li> <div>Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, and IT, to support procurement strategies.</div> </li> <li> <div>Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and technology procurement opportunities.</div> </li> <li> <div>Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (advanced) to analyze procurement data, develop reports, and present findings to leadership.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, regulations, and financial targets.</div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>10 15 years of procurement sourcing experience, including at least 5 years in technology sourcing (not general purchasing).</div> </li> <li> <div>Proven experience leading complex contract negotiations independently, with high-value contracts ($5M+).</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong experience in contract authoring and editing.</div> </li> <li> <div>Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders.</div> </li> <li> <div>Post-secondary education in Finance or related field; Procurement designation preferred.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong analytical skills, market awareness, and financial acumen.</div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Nice-to-Have:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>Proven experience sourcing and negotiating deals with AI or emerging technology providers.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of procurement law and regulations.</div> </li> <li> <div>Track record of achieving financial targets (individual: $5M savings, team: $25M savings).</div> </li> <li> <div>Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.</div> </li> </ul> <div><b>Tools & Technology:</b></div> <ul> <li> <div>Microsoft Excel (advanced): for financial analysis, cost modeling, and reporting.</div> </li> <li> <div>Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced): for presentations and executive briefings.</div> </li> <li> <div>Procurement or contract management software experience is a plus.</div> </li> </ul>
