Job Title: Metaverse Expert

Location: Pune

Experience: 8–12 years

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Metaverse Expert to architect, build, and scale a next-generation Ceramic Metaverse Platform that delivers immersive, interactive, and intelligent digital experiences for the ceramics, architecture, and interior design ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in visual metaverse technologies, AR/VR applications, IoT integrations , and cloud-based delivery , along with hands-on experience using Azure DevOps to support agile, scalable, and high-quality product delivery.

Must-Have Skills

Core Technical Skills:

• Experience of using & integrating Metaverse Visualization platforms, 3D dashboards, or Digital Twin solutions .
• Working experience of Metaverse, AR/VR, or immersive technologies (Unity, Unreal, Web-based 3D).
• Experience integrating IoT data and devices into digital platforms.
• Hands-on working experience with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, boards, releases).
• Solid understanding of 3D pipelines, asset optimization, and real-time performance tuning .
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine , or Web-based 3D frameworks (Three.js, Babylon.js).
• Exposure to Azure cloud services (IoT Hub, Digital Twins, Azure Functions, App Services).
• Understanding of AI/ML integration in immersive experiences (recommendations, analytics).
• Experience with CI/CD automation for AR/VR and 3D applications.
• Domain knowledge of ceramics, manufacturing, architecture, or interior design .
• Prior experience in SaaS, platform-based, or startup environments .
• Certifications in AR/VR, Metaverse, Azure, or Cloud Architecture .

Key Responsibilities

Visualization & Metaverse

• Design and develop advanced visualization dashboards and immersive experiences.
• Build Metaverse-based applications for:
• Virtual factory or infrastructure walkthroughs
• Remote monitoring and collaboration
• Training and simulation
• Integrate real-time IoT data into 3D, AR/VR, or web-based visualization platforms.
• Collaborate with UX and product teams to deliver intuitive, data-driven experiences.

IoT Architecture & Implementation

• Design and implement end-to-end IoT architectures covering devices, edge, cloud, and applications.
• Develop IoT applications for manufacturing plants and infrastructure environments.
• Implement device connectivity, data ingestion, and real-time processing pipelines.
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of IoT platforms.
• Integrate IoT systems with MES, ERP, SCADA, BMS, and asset management platforms .

Manufacturing & Infrastructure Solutions Domain would be an added advantage.

• Deliver use cases such as predictive maintenance, asset monitoring, energy management, condition monitoring, and operational analytics .
• Work closely with domain experts to understand industrial processes and infrastructure workflows .
• Enable digital twins of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure assets.

Engineering & Delivery

• Lead hands-on development across backend, frontend, cloud, and visualization layers.
• Participate in PoCs, pilots, and production rollouts .
• Apply best practices across SDLC, testing, debugging, and deployment .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations.

Product & Startup Mindset

• Take ownership of features from concept to production.
• Think from a customer and product perspective , not just implementation.
• Contribute ideas for product improvement, scalability, and performance .
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup or product-driven environment.
