Role Purpose

STL (Sterlite Technologies Ltd) are continuing to grow rapidly and to support the next stage of our growth in the Datacenter business.

Supports Technology Lead in on-ground implementation of initiatives. Collects and analyses the data collected on ground to obtain insights

Role Responsibilities

• Understand the New Product requirements from customer expectations and lead development trials with proper data sheets, process sheets, raw materials, tooling (if needed, then design the tooling) and machines
• Generating new ideas for product design, modification, and participate in patent filing
• Execute development trials on machines within optimised timeline
• Work with QA/Application team to test the product against set QAP and AAP
• Maintain the records of all documents during the product development phases
• Follow Stage Gate process for product development

Skills & Experience

- Hands on experience of material testing, extrusion process in buffering and sheathing process and good understanding of extrusion tool design.

- Hands on with tools like MS Excel, Word and ppt. to analyse the data.

- AutoCAD Design knowledge (preferred but not mandatory)
