Responsibilities
- Develop and manage structural and civil engineering drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
- Create detailed 2D/3D models, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings for steel and concrete structures.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Review and update drawings based on design changes, client feedback, and site requirements.
- Perform clash detection and resolve modeling issues to ensure constructability.
- Maintain documentation and drawing records for project deliverables.
- Support project execution by coordinating with stakeholders and providing technical inputs.
Skills
- 8–13 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
- Strong expertise in structural steel and concrete modeling, detailing, and drafting.
- Proficiency in preparing fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and reinforcement detailing.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards (IS, AISC, BS, or Eurocodes).
- Ability to perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
