Roles:Tekla Editor/Modeler/Checker

Roles and Responsibilities

Editor: Minimum 1+ Years

• Responsible to detail complex Assembly Drawings
• Responsible to assist Senior Detailer in creating Erection drawings, AB Plans, Embed and FB drawings
• Responsible to assist Senior Detailer in preparing First article drawings
• Responsible to assist Modelers in linking Multi Drawings
• Responsible to perform self-checking to ensure the work is complete and of sufficient quality before handing over to QA
• Responsible to deliver detailing with at par quality on the first pass
• Responsible to assist Sheet Checkers in checking up to mid-complex assembly drawings as and when required based on project needs.

Modeler:8+Years

• Responsible to provide preliminary model estimation and schedule to Team Leader
• Responsible to assign job to modelers on daily basis and monitor the progress
• Responsible to coordinate with Editing Crew for Drawing production
• Accountable to monitor and ensure VM & Tekla Model / Drawing list integrity are in line with SOPs
• Responsible to understand R&D request from the team and take it forward with Development team
• Responsible to proactively foresee the potential challenges and plan execution strategies for future sequences
• Responsible to perform the duties of Senior Modeler / Modeler Gr. A and fulfill the requirements in their absence
• Responsible to stay abreast of project matters and perform responsibilities in the absence of Team Leader

Checker:4+Years

• Responsible to provide Checking estimation and schedule to Team Leader
• Responsible to assign Model and Drawing checking to the checking crew in consultation with Team Leader
• Responsible to participate actively in Project wash-up meeting to discuss on the lessons learnt
• Responsible to take charge on project deliverables in the absence of Team Leader
• Responsible to proactively foresee the potential challenges and plan execution strategies for future sequences
• Responsible to stay abreast on the checking procedures and perform tasks when assigned for Checking roles based on project needs
• Responsible to observe team members performance and suggest necessary trainings for development
• Responsible to suggest on automation requirements wherever possible
• Responsible to assist Team Leader in preparing Change Orders and Weekly progress reports
• Accountable to review all deliverables and ensure customer standards are followed
