Tele Counsellor

Role Overview

The Tele Counsellor will connect with prospective students through inbound

and outbound calls, provide accurate information about available courses, and assist

the admissions team in driving enrolments. The role also includes coordinating with

internal departments, supporting senior counsellors in closing admissions, and

ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Make outbound calls and handle inbound inquiries to counsel prospective

students.

2. Provide clear and accurate information on courses, fees, and admission

procedures.

3. Support senior counsellors in closing admissions and help improve lead

conversion.

4. Follow up with prospective students via calls, messages, and emails to drive

enrolments.

5. Maintain well-organized records of interactions, follow-ups, and call logs.

6. Achieve monthly targets for follow-ups, enrolments, and conversions.

7. Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate student onboarding and

documentation.

8. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with company

policies in all communications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in any discipline
• Experience of 1 or more years in sales
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
• Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively
• Strong sales, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage
• Target-driven mindset, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team
