Job Purpose
To manage the Voice/Data Core NSS operations and NSS Rollout at circle level. This role includes engagement with COG, SNOC, Product Factory, CXX, Planning, Transport and various inter-functional circle teams i.E. Marketing, CS, RA & Business, so as to deliver quake free and superior quality Voice / Data Core services at circle. The role involves managing Voice core services multi-technology environment (viz. 2G, 3G, 4G CS/PS Voice, VoLTE/IMS, VoIP, Signaling STP/DRA, Roaming and Support Enterprise Fixed Line & IOT).

Core CS /PS Domain: MSC/GMSC, MSS/GCS, BC, MGW/GMGW, PACO cloud (CMM/CMG/SGW/PGW), CGNAT/ Cache server, STP/SPS/DSR, DRA, MNP DB, HLR-(Mono, DX, NT), UDC, HSS, NDS, CDS, EIR/AUC, IMS VOLTE, TAS, SBC, Core MPBN-Routers & L2/L3 Switches, STP Routers), EMS, PMS tool, Voice LI.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
- FIELD SUPPORT: Field support for issues resolution. Support to SNOC during incident resolution, upgrades and planned events. Report failures and drive to resolve in line with SLA/OLA. Capacity and KPI analysis and strive to improve same as per central guidelines & targets. Pro-active failure analysis. Offline backup support. MIS & report preparation/analysis. Support SNOC integration & Network Consolidation. Process adherence as directed by COG and SNOC. Redundancy testing. Management of Access and Long-distance interconnects. CS /PS Core and VoLTE Node Availability, Capacity management of Voice / Data Core Nodes (Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports). TAC EIR management and updates within 24hrs. Delivering new series/GT opening/IR testing and Updates to central team/portal for code opening.
- CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Enrich customer Voice /Data services by meticulous customer complaints analysis and resolution. Drive to sustain NIL revenue leakages in circle.
- PROJECT SUPPORT: Support new services/node rollouts and expansions HW/SW. Voice Core Infrastructure management and hygiene. Support field trials and POCs. Sync with UAT teams and RA for tests and clearances.
- DATABASE MANAGEMENT: Spare management & EOS/EOL management. Inventory management and quarterly sign off. Handle OPEX AMC/MS BPA PR PO as per Corp. Directives. Commercial co-ordination and closures at circle level.
- SECURITY MANAGEMENT: Regulatory compliance adherence. Ensure MBSS security compliance of Voice Core nodes hosted in circle.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
- Should have at least 5+ years of experience overall in telecom domain with Voice / Packet Core service knowledge with preferably Nokia platform.
- Basic knowledge of IP domain CCNA/CCNP.
- Knowledge of Signaling, Roaming and Voice /DATA call flows in 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE domains.
- Experience in Cloud domain, knowledge will be a major plus.
