Job Title: Telecom Drafter
Location: Overland Park, KS

About the Role:

Our client, a telecommunications firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Telecom Drafter to transform initial rough product designs into detailed working documents. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for CAD, this is your chance to contribute to essential telecommunications projects. You'll be:
  • Creating Working Documents: Transforming initial rough product designs into working documents using computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Ensuring Adherence: Reviewing engineering drawings and designs to ensure they meet established specifications and standards.
  • Collaborating on Designs: Working with design originators to resolve any discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.

    • Who You Are:
  • You have 1+ years of OSP Fiber underground drafting experience (highly preferred).
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD.

    • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in CAD/GIS/Civil
  • QGIS experience

    • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Term: This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity.
  • Hybrid Schedule: WFH is available after working in the role for ~6-months.
  • Pay Range: 23.00 - 25.00 per hour depending on prior experience.
