Job Summary
The Relationship Manager, supports telecom enterprise sales by managing key relationships with Telecom Operator Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) across India. This role focuses on coordinating new order inquiries for feasibility checks and fulfillment in communication services such as Intra-Location Loops (ILL), Broadband Managed Services, and Wireless SD-WAN connectivity. Success involves proactive communication, order tracking, and ensuring seamless collaboration between sales teams and operators to drive revenue growth
Key Responsibilities
· Connect daily with Telecom Operator SPOCs in India via calls, emails, and virtual meetings to identify new order opportunities for the connectivity business for VIVA - ILL, Broadband Managed Services, Wireless SD-WAN
· Assess order feasibility by gathering technical requirements, coordinating with internal teams for quotes, and facilitating fulfillment processes from inquiry to delivery.
· Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with SPOCs, documenting interactions in CRM systems to track leads, preferences, and feedback.
· Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates on order pipelines, including weekly/monthly summaries of new orders, conversions, and challenges.
· Coordinate sales meetings, demos, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Required Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, or related field; MBA preferred.
· 1 years of experience in telecom sales coordination, enterprise sales support, or relationship management in India.
· Strong knowledge of telecom services including ILL, Broadband Managed Services, and SD-WAN; familiarity with Indian telecom operators.
· Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and sales tracking software.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to handle multiple SPOCs across regions. Additional knowledge of Hindi will be beneficial
Daily Workflow
Typical activities include morning outreach to 10-15 SPOCs for order leads, midday feasibility reviews and internal handoffs, afternoon follow-ups on fulfillment status, and end-of-day CRM updates and reporting. The role demands resilience in managing rejections and a proactive approach to expanding operator networks.
