Job Description
Responsibilities:
- SME would be responsible to work with telecom client R&D team for new stack development. (e.g Open RAN)
- SME should be able to functionally handle a team from stack development delivery perspective ( R&D team members e.g. 5g developers)
- End to End development experience and should have handled large transformation deliveries in telecom domain
- Experience across different telecom domain e.g. RAN, Packet core & NFVi
- Research and development bent of mind and capable to innovate solution & product implementations
Mandatory skill sets:
- Development experience of Telecom product stack like RAN, Packet Core, IP , Backhaul,etc.
- Would have worked with standards like 3 GPP protocol stack in the development capacity.
- Strong Hands-on Programming skills ( C or C++ language - any one)
- Strong understanding of Physical channel and resource optimizations of PDCC/PUCCH/PDSCH and PUSCH in TDD and FDD.
- In-depth knowledge of 5 G NR g NB CU stack layers (RRC, NGAP, Xn AP, F1 AP, SDAP) with strong ability to analyze signalling traces and resolve interoperability issues.
- Extensive knowledge of 4 G & 5 G Packet Core network functions and interfaces (eg. AMF, UPF SMF etc)
- Good understanding of NFVi, SDI, SDN, Orchestration NFVO
Preferred skill sets:
- Prior Experience in telecom OEM company.
- Development experience in BSS/OSS product stack development is additional plus.
- Sound understanding of OS concepts.
- Working experience in Throughput optimizations, LA, CLPC, CA and MIMO.
