Overview

Telecommunications Field Technician (PSTS-2025-23877):

Bowhead seeks a Telecommunications Field Technician for a newly awarded contract to provide Base Telecom Support at the Puget Sound, WA. The effort will provide telecommunications operations and maintenance (O&M). This includes secure and reliable, classified and unclassified, voice and data services in support of Command, Control, Computer, Communications and Information (C4I) operations and exercises. 

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

  • Install, maintain, and repair outside telecommunications infrastructure, including:

    Underground and aerial copper/fiber cablingBackbone and distribution systemsConduits, vaults, ducts, and pedestals

  • Perform:

    Fiber and copper splicing (fusion and mechanical)OTDR and power meter testingFault isolation and emergency restorationTermination of cables in man...
