Job Overview:
Reports to the Telecommunications Manager. Works alone or with a team. Provides digital and analog telecommunication maintenance and repair services to include but not limited to Inside and outside plant cable infrastructure and cable (copper/fiber optic) distribution systems.Installs telecommunications equipment, systems, and cables. Performs telecommunications preventative maintenance inspections. Provides normal and on-call/after duty hours support as required to include emergency restoration of communications cabling and conveyances. Solves problems by troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and removing/replacing telecommunications equipment, systems, and cable. Outside Plant experience is a plus.Develops technical recommendations for modification or replacement of telecommunications cable infrastructure.
