Position: Telematics Testing – Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Experience: 7-20 Years
Location: Mysore
Domain: Automotive – Connected Car & Infotainment
Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing and system engineering activities for Telematics Control Units (TCU).
- Define and execute test plans for overall software sign-off across connected car and infotainment components.
- Produce clear and concise requirements-based test reports and release notes.
- Provide technical feedback to development teams on troubleshooting and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and perform vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system validation.
Must-Have Skills
- Telematics Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience in automotive telematics systems.
- Wireless Technology Knowledge: GSM, CDMA, LTE, 3 G, 4 G, 5 G (SA & NSA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, C-V2 X.
- Cybersecurity Concepts: Cryptography algorithms, security software libraries, SELinux-based access control.
- Testing Techniques: Unit testing, white-box testing, penetration testing, fuzz testing.
- Network Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP/HTTPS, DHCP, NTP.
