Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Aurora, CO

A dynamic opportunity for a registered nurse with strong telemetry skills is now available in Aurora, Colorado. This contract position offers the chance to contribute in a well-established medical center recognized with three-time Magnet designation and serving a large cardiac patient population. The role focuses on providing exceptional care on Telemetry floors and includes opportunities to float among various inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Chemotherapy certification is a plus, allowing scheduling flexibility with the Oncology unit
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac care and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to adapt and flexibly float between units as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a compassionate approach to patient care

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care on telemetry units with patient ratios averaging 1:5
• Monitor cardiac patients using advanced telemetry equipment and electronic medical records (Meditech)
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team including RNs, CNAs, and float pool staff
• Engage in continuous learning to manage a range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Follow unit policies promoting a supportive, family-like work environment
