Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region. WEMBLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is located within the community of Wembley, Alberta, approximately 25 kms west of the city of Grande Prairie.
