As a Tender Procurement Manager at Alstom, you will lead procurement activities during the tender phase, ensuring cost competitiveness, compliance, and timely delivery of supplier commitments. This role is critical in supporting bid teams and securing strategic sourcing solutions aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement procurement strategies for tenders in collaboration with sourcing and bid teams.
  • Analyze supplier offers, negotiate terms, and ensure alignment with cost targets and technical specifications.
  • Manage RFQs and supplier engagement through platforms such as Ariba and SAP.
  • Prepare procurement cost breakdowns and risk assessments for tender submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with Alstom’s procurement policies and contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑optimization strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in tender or project‑based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier negotiation, and cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
