Qualifications

  • Teradata Generic: Teradata architecture knowledge
  • Knowledge on Data warehousing principles and practices.
  • Teradata SQL knowledge (critical for the role)
  • Knowledge on Teradata tools and utilities
  • Informatic basic level knowledge
  • Working knowledge on Unix commands
  • Experience on Jams scheduler (preferred) or any other job scheduler tools like Autosys
  • Knowledge on SVN (or any code version control tools)
  • Knowledge on ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticket management
  • Teradata DBA
  • Experience on Teradata Admin activities
  • Experience working on Teradata Vantage on AWS and Teradata database version upgrades
  • Knowledge of Viewpoint and different portlets in Viewpoint for system health monitoring
  • Query performance optimization
  • Knowledge on Data Mover tool for data copy across environments
