About the Role

: This position is responsible for driving sales growth and managing key accounts within the telecommunications and private network sectors, focusing on building strong, long-term relationships with clients while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. This role is key to developing and executing strategic sales plans across Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Oman, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to expand presence, enhance brand visibility, and meet or exceed sales targets. It involves identifying opportunities, navigating competitive landscapes, and collaborating with teams to deliver client-focused solutions. As a vital contributor to revenue growth, this position drives long-term success and strengthens the company's leadership in telecommunications and private networks. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the telecommunications and private network sectors.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead sales negotiations with customers and partner with internal organizations to obtain required approvals. 
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through the implementation of sales strategies
  • Ensure sales deals are closed that deliver the expected P&L results
  • Manages the execution of the complete sales cycle at the Regional/Corporate account level, from product positioning, customer seminars, scoping tender needs / generating sales leads, qualifying, coordinating sales activities, and required resources for solution development, negotiating and closing. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and product management to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
  • Oversee interactions with the customer including sales, project management operations and customer escalations
  • Coordinates with the pre-sales teams to assess the customer’s decision-makers’ needs and understands customer’s business, technology, and product requirements.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Exercise profit/loss authority for sales orders and ensure business terms support cash collection targets
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Represent Aviat Networks at industry events and trade shows to promote products/services.
  • Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field or similar qualification in a technical/business discipline.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably in the GCC & Levant markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Previous revenue responsibility more than $10M with understanding of financial information
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and networking technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Articulate, strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior level audiences
  • Superior professional presence and business acumen and able to establish key relationships with all decision makers. 
  • Diplomacy both internally and externally with partners and customers
  • Ability to think outside the box to overcome political or technical objections
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales revenue targets on a recurring basis
  • Commercial thinker, with the ability to maximize revenue opportunities at every opportunity
  • Proficiency in English. Arabia a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
