Job Description

Position Summary

The Test Automation Engineer will develop automated tests for Rockwell Automation’s cybersecurity and risk management software, SecureOT Platform. This position will work collaboratively on the Quality Assurance & Support team within SecureOT Platform Development.

Essential Functions:

  • Become an advanced user of SecureOT Platform with a strong understanding of product functionality.
  • Design browser-based automated tests to check for regressions in SecureOT Platform applications.
  • Perform ongoing application testing and maintain accurate documentation on application system requirements and limitations.
  • Review current test procedures and gaps to find opportunities for improved test coverage and more efficient test methods.
  • Read and understand software change requests, and design and document appropriate test procedures.

    • Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience with automated web application testing.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium.
  • A broad understanding of TCP/IP networking and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • A working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
