Job Description
Our client in Tampere is searching for a Test Engineer to join their NPI team working on STATCOM / FACTS products. You will lead testing activities across power electronics, software, and FPGA systems.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate testing activities across power electronics, software, and FPGA
Define and maintain test plans, specifications, and procedures
Perform and oversee RTDS testing and validation of STATCOM devices
Coordinate testing across multiple teams and laboratories
Track test progress, manage timelines, and report status to stakeholders
Support critical or complex test activities when needed
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in power electronics testing
Hands-on experience with RTDS testing
Experience with software validation, FPGA testing, and Ethernet technologies
Test automation experience
Familiarity with JIRA or similar tracking tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
