Test Automation Engineer - Step vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
  • Architect, develop, and extend an automated functional testing platform built on STEP by Exense.
  • Manage and evolve the company's load and performance testing platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with application teams, DevOps, and SRE to embed testing and monitoring best practices throughout the SDLC.
Your experience/knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid practical knowledge of STEP by Exense as a user and administrator.
  • Strong hands-on experience with synthetic monitoring tools and frameworks (e.g. Playwright, or Selenium).
  • Deep expertise in load and performance testing tools and methodologies (e.g. k6, or JMeter).
  • Experience automating tests and integrating monitoring/test results into CI/CD pipelines
