Job Title: Test Engineer - Electrical
Location: Elmira Heights, NY
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $80000 - $100000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
OVERVIEW:
W ill serve as the expert in either mechanical/electrical engineering requirements for the testing department. Will have in-depth knowledge of engineering and rail car design to ensure that the employees are adequately trained on their duties and responsibilities within the testing department and that all testing equipment is calibrated and adequate for the job. In some cases will be required to travel with the finished product to the end destination.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
+ Capture manufacturability issues with the design, submit design change proposals, and implement the change into the product
+ BOM explosions, implosions, and station routings and use of system to see what we manufacture and what we buy
