Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze functional and business requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements and design documents.
- Execute manual test cases and report, track, and validate defects through closure.
- Perform various types of testing including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT.
- Conduct API testing and validation to ensure backend functionality and data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in test reviews, requirement discussions, and UAT support activities.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Manual Testing, including requirement analysis, test planning, and test execution.
- Good understanding of QA Testing concepts such as Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT testing.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman.
- Experience in API Automation using Java Script or Cypress.
- Exposure to Database Testing, preferably with Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or similar.
Knowledge or prior experience in the Fin Tech domain.
