Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze functional and business requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements and design documents.
• Execute manual test cases and report, track, and validate defects through closure.
• Perform various types of testing including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT.
• Conduct API testing and validation to ensure backend functionality and data integrity.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in test reviews, requirement discussions, and UAT support activities.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing , including requirement analysis, test planning, and test execution.
• Good understanding of QA Testing concepts such as Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT testing.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman .
• Experience in API Automation using JavaScript or Cypress .
• Exposure to Database Testing , preferably with Oracle .
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as JMeter , Locust , or similar.

Knowledge or prior experience in the FinTech domain .
