Join Our Team as a Test Lab Technologist at Johnson Electric!
Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (onsite)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete lab work requests in a timely manner in collaboration with the Test Lab Supervisor
- Set up and operate test machines and fixture combinations for various performance tests
- Conduct component inspections using CMM, micrometers, verniers, and other instruments
- Support prototype builds, including assembly of test components
- Perform teardown and analysis of returned pumps and completed test parts
- Provide technical support for new test setups, including gauging, plumbing, sensors, and electronics
- Document and communicate test results effectively to stakeholders
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
- Support continuous improvement of lab practices and capabilities
