A vacancy for an Experimental Test Pilot has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Seville, dedicated mainly to A400M and M&L aircraft. The successful applicant will join the Engineering Department.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Experimental Test Flight
• Support Production, qualification, validation & verification, acceptance, ferry and training flight operations, including preparation, execution and reporting.
• May provide support as Test Pilot in Getafe and Manching Test Center
• Execute Experimental Test Pilot activities in any Airbus or Customer facility all over the world
• Participate in A400 Test, Production and Deliveries and Training activities (in‑flight and simulator)
• Participate in Airbus Defence and Space Derivatives programs (A310, A330, A320, etc.)
• Participate in M&L Test, Production and Deliveries and Training activities (in‑flight and simulator)
• International Assignment Commitment: The selected candidate will be required to undertake a rotational schedule involving 3 months in India (to support Indian FAL OPS), followed by 3 months (as a minimum) at the home base, and another 3 months in India (if required), as part of the role's ongoing responsibilities.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• More than 1500 flight hours (required), on transport aircraft
• Previous CAT 2 experience in transport aircraft
• Flight Test Instructor (FTI) qualification and experience (desirable)
• Flight test operations management experience (5+ years)
• Valid JAR CPL/ATPL (A) with Class 1 Medical and IR
• Any valid Airbus TR (preferred) or previous experience
• English advanced (minimum TEA Level 5)
• Spanish will be valuable
