Test & Qualification Analyst for Digital Embedded Devices (d/f/m)

We are seeking a Test & Qualification Analyst (d/f/m) , responsible for planning and executing comprehensive manual end-to-end testing routines for our embedded systems and IoT solutions.

Responsibilities
  • E2E Testing: design, setup, and maintenance of test environments, including mechanical parts and sensors, simulating real-world hardware conditions.
  • Agile Testing: use agile methodologies to track task progress of test execution, align with project deliveries, identify software bugs, report in issue tracking tools.
  • Test Documentation: develop, review, and execute test plans; prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to conducted tests.
  • Collaboration: work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, other QAs, and stakeholders to reach high quality products according to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Automation: develop simple scripts to accelerate test execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in quality assurance of embedded systems and elevators, 2+ years’ experience in elevators testing or field support.
  • Fluent English language, writing, and conversation B2.
  • Practical experience in Linux operating systems, including network configuration.
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, performance, stress, security, integration, and system testing focused on embedded devices and IoT systems, including integration with cloud platforms and communication with other devices.
  • Experience with Jira (preferably XRay), Azure DevOps for managing and reporting testing activities and bugs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a global environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in digital transformation, connectivity solutions, or IoT in the industrial or building automation sector.
  • Experience with communication protocols and interfaces like HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, CAN.
  • Expertise in mobile application testing for multiplatform frameworks.
  • Knowledge in API testing tools like Postman.
  • Knowledge of Python or other script language for task automation.
  • Practical experience with BDD using Gherkin to describe test scenarios to execute acceptance tests in collaboration with development teams.
