I’m currently recruiting for a Test Technician to join a specialist electronics testing organisation based in Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electronics background who is keen to develop hands‑on experience in component authentication and counterfeit detection within a regulated aerospace/defence environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical and physical testing of electronic components in line with AS6171 Moderate Risk Level 2 standards , ensuring all work meets strict quality, customer and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Component testing and inspection to AS6171 standards
- Visual (external/internal) inspection, X-ray analysis and decapsulation
- Identification of counterfeit or non-conforming components
