Testing Electrician (South Region)

Your role is to work within the Testing team, predominately carrying out electrical inspection and testing activities to ensure the Company’s compliance with current regulations and statutory requirements throughout all of our regional sites.  This includes initial site inspection at project commencement, followed by periodic testing at three monthly intervals thereafter.  Follow internal reporting procedures, and in the unlikely event of substandard installations address this with your line manager and the relevant regional contracts manager. This is key to improving the Company’s installation quality and an important part of your activity. Upon inspection visits you are expected to carry out minor remedial works if these are necessary to satisfy the safe operation of the installation, particularly where these involve damage leading to exposed conductive parts, earthing and mains protective arrangements on site.
