Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Textile Designer to join our team in New Delhi on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should possess 1 to 3 years of experience in textile design. As a Textile Designer, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative design concepts and contribute your skills in creating unique and impactful textile patterns.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop original textile patterns, keeping current trends and market needs in mind.
• Good understanding of basic and compound weave structures
• Basics of a Jacquard software.
• Develop weave and technical graphs. (sampling & production)
• Able to communicate weave plans to the plant team.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Understand the workings of Peddle handloom, Jacquard handloom.
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and execute fabric designs that align with client specifications.
• Utilize 3D visualization techniques to create realistic representations of textile concepts.
• Maintain awareness of current fashion trends, color cycles, and fabric innovations for inspired design ideas.
• Conduct research on fabric techniques and materials to ensure designs are feasible and innovative.
• Assist in preparing detailed design presentations for internal and client review sessions.
• Manage design projects from concept to final production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure the transition from design to manufacturing is seamless.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong skills in Photoshop, focusing on transforming concepts into final products with attention to detail.
• Experience in Textile Pattern Design, capable of creating innovative and trend-setting patterns.
• Expertise in 3D Textile Visualization to bring textile concepts to life accurately and engagingly.
• Knowledge of Fabric Printing Techniques to ensure designs are adaptable for production processes.
• Understanding of textile design processes, including fabric selection and pattern finalization.
• Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and innovate within the textile design space.
