Job Description

The tasks:

  • Independently creating textures for humans and creatures, as well as hard surfaces
  • Collaborating with the CG Supervisor to determine the look of the CG objects
  • Obtaining a degree of realism suitable for the artistic direction of the project
  • Maintaining timely turnovers according to the timeframe given by the coordination team
  • Executing the corrections requested by the Supervisor and the Director
  • Organizing and preparing presentation elements for approval
  • Ideally you will have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Texturing for VFX projects
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion
  • Good knowledge of Mari and Zbrush
  • Basic modeling skills
  • A basic knowledge of Maya and/or Houdini
  • Familiarity with the USD pipeline is a plus
  • Generalist knowledge (e.g. shading) will be appreciated
  • Location & Work Requirements:

  • Freelance position based in Germany
  • A hybrid or remote work setting (within Germany) is possible
  • EU citizenship or a pre-existing German work permit required
