Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)

The  Construction Surveillance Technician is responsible for performing access control functions at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the Secure Construction Site (SCS) according to the Construction Security Plan (CSP). In addition, the CST screens all non-cleared workers, vehicles and equipment entering or exiting the SCS. The CST denies introductions of prohibit materials, such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items specified in the CSP and conducts random inspections of site areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform technical inspection of all individuals and/or vehicles seeking access to the site to ensure that no prohibited items are introduced into or onto the construction site and to ensure that no unauthorized individuals enter the site.
