Job Description

  • Develop high fidelity 1-D thermal system and component-level models to support fuel economy and vehicle performance assessments
  • Perform model correlation and validation against physical data test to ensure simulation accuracy and predictive capability.
  • Assess vehicle performance and thermal system robustness over a wide range of mission profiles/duty cycles

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in 1D thermal system, hydraulic system, and component-level thermal simulation
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with automotive OEM’s
  • Extensive experience using 1d thermal simulation software, preferably GT suite, to support vehicle and propulsion system development
