Thermal Validation Engineer (CPU)

Role overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Thermal Validation Engineer to support CPU thermal qualification and validation efforts. The role focuses on designing and executing thermal test plans, running thermal characterization on platforms and reference designs, analyzing data, and automating test and data workflows. The ideal candidate has direct CPU thermal validation experience, strong scripting skills (Python), and familiarity with OS command line and scripting on both Windows and Linux.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CPU thermal validation tests across development and qualification stages (component, platform, system-level).
• Develop, maintain and execute thermal test procedures (steady-state, transient, power cycling, throttling, stress tests).
• Instrument and configure test systems: thermocouples, thermal chambers, DAQs, power supplies, fans, and airflow measurement equipment.
