Third Rail Expert

750 V DC with BTech/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering having 5 years of total experience out of which 3 years should be in 750 V DC Third Rail Engineer/Expert in any metro or Railway System Project.

Experience:

1. Interface & Coordination with other contractors as per contract

2. Site survey and review of Third Rail Layout and Sectioning Layout and preparation of Third Rail & Accessories Installation and Testing Procedure.

3. Reviewing Third Rail, Bracket, EJ, LSR/HSR Ramps and BMC Insulator Mechanical and Electrical Calculation and ensuring implementation during execution.

4. Installation of Conductor rail, Splice, Mid-Point Anchor, Expansion Joint , Ramps etc as per design and Stringer trolley conductor bar installation at Inspection Bay line. 

5. Carrying out conductance test activities as per approved Methodology.

6. Monitoring the materials and manpower utilization for installation and gauging of conductor rail.

7. Preparing Non-Standard conductor rail consumption chart for minimizing the wastage. 

8. Material Management (Loading, Unloading, and shifting) as per requirement or schedule. 

9. Ensuring the Bridgeable gap as per design at the time of installation. 

10. Preparing resource (Material, Manpower, and Tools) for the Execution purpose as per Execution Schedule and tracking accordingly. 

11. Maintaining Daily Progress report and Material Consumption. 

12. Preparing work program schedule for timely completion of project.

13. Analyzing the Dead-zone and mitigating it with the design team as per site condition.

14. Studying of CAD drawing and analyzing the same
