Role Description

As a Thumbnail Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing thumbnails for videos, ensuring they are eye-catching and engaging for the audience.

Responsibilities:

• Design visually compelling Channel Logos, Cover Pictures and thumbnails for YouTube videos and other digital content.
• Own the click-through rate (CTR) metric for thumbnails, continuously optimizing designs to increase viewer engagement.
• Collaborate with creative strategists and video editors from pre-production to post-production to develop and execute thumbnail concepts.
• Research and stay updated with current design trends and competitors’ strategies to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Create multiple variants and conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective thumbnail designs.
• Conceptualize new and original ideas that align with the brand's visual identity.
• Actively participate in creative reviews, applying feedback to refine and perfect thumbnail designs.

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with a focus on designing Logos, Cover pictures and thumbnails for YouTuber other digital platforms.
• A portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of visual aesthetics, creativity, and technical skill in graphic design.
• Insight into what makes users select your content among a stream of hundred other options.
